Crispy Smashed Cauliflower Florets with Parmesan


Using Cabera Foods Organic Frozen Cauliflower for convenient, premium quality florets straight from Europe's finest organic farms—perfect for quick prep and maximum flavor!
Ingredients (for 4-6 servings):
2 bags(about 500-600g) Cabera Foods Organic Frozen Cauliflower Florets (thawed slightly or used frozen for convenience)
3-4 tbsp olive oil
3 cloves garlic, minced
Salt and freshly ground black pepper, to taste
¾ to 1 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese (divided)
Optional: zest and juice of 1 lemon, paprika, Italian herbs, or fresh chopped parsley for garnish
Instructions:
Preheat oven to 400-425°F (200-220°C). Line a large baking sheet with parchment paper.
In a large bowl, toss the cauliflower florets (frozen or partially thawed) with olive oil, minced garlic, salt, pepper, and about half the grated Parmesan. Coat evenly.
Spread the florets in a single layer on the prepared baking sheet. Bake for 20-25 minutes until tender and starting to lightly brown (frozen florets may take a bit longer).
Remove from oven. Using the bottom of a glass or a spatula, gently smash each floret to flatten slightly (about ½ inch thick) for extra crispy edges.
Generously sprinkle the remaining Parmesan over the smashed florets. Return to the oven for another 10-15 minutes, or until the cheese is melted, golden, and crispy around the edges (watch closely to prevent burning).
Garnish with fresh herbs, lemon zest, or extra pepper if desired. Serve hot as a crispy side dish or appetizer!
