The blackberry simple syrup adds a burst of flavor, while the frozen blackberries give the margaritas a beautiful purple hue. Whether you're hosting a summer party or simply want to enjoy a delicious drink on a warm day, these margaritas are sure to impress.

To make the blackberry simple syrup, start by combining the frozen blackberries, granulated sugar, water, and freshly squeezed lime juice in a saucepan. Heat the mixture over medium heat until it comes to a boil, then reduce the heat and let it simmer for about 10 minutes. This will allow the flavors to meld together and the sugar to dissolve. Once the syrup has simmered, remove it from the heat and let it cool for a few minutes.

Next, strain the syrup to remove the blackberry seeds and pulp. You can use a fine-mesh strainer or cheesecloth for this step. The resulting syrup will be smooth and vibrant in color. Transfer the syrup to a container and refrigerate it until chilled.

Now it's time to make the blackberry margaritas. In a blender, combine the blanco tequila, orange liqueur, freshly squeezed lime juice, freshly squeezed orange juice, frozen blackberries, and ice. Blend until the mixture is smooth and slushy, adding more ice if needed to achieve the desired consistency. The frozen blackberries will give the margaritas a beautiful purple color, and the combination of flavors will create a deliciously fruity drink.

To serve the margaritas, you can rim the glasses with coarse sugar for an extra touch of sweetness. Simply dip the rims in lime juice and then into the sugar. This step is optional but adds a nice decorative element to the drink. Divide the blackberry margarita mixture among the glasses and garnish with lime wedges and fresh blackberries, if desired. Serve the margaritas immediately to enjoy them at their best.

These frozen blackberry margaritas are perfect for any occasion. They're great for summer parties, backyard barbecues, or simply enjoying on a sunny day. The combination of blackberries, lime, and orange creates a refreshing and tangy flavor that pairs perfectly with the tequila.
